SO-CAL K-9 DETECTION offers services to private residences, commercial buildings, schools, or special events. Our Explosive Detection K9 Teams: Since September 11th the need for explosive detections dogs has increased greatly. This “need” has unfortunately brought about some shysters who have taken advantage of the situation. Regardless, this does not change the fact that THE DOG is one of the best tools to detect hidden explosives or more specifically, explosive odor. One of the most important things you can do when deciding which trainer to go with is asking if they use REAL EXPLOSIVES in the training of their dogs. Our Contraband Detection Teams: Our teams detect the following Odors: Marijuana, Cocaine, Meth, Heroin, Ecstacy (MDMA), Alcohol (all types of drinking alcohols), as well as smokeless and synthetic gun powders as well as different perscribed drugs that are commonly abused in the workplace and schools (vicodin, percoset, flexaril.) Our Narcotics Detection Teams: Are trained to detect Marijuana, Cocaine, Meth, Heroin, Ecstacy (MDMA), and LSD.
All dog and handler teams are certified
with the International Canine Detection Foundation as well as exceed
